Our MISSION
Giving LGBTQIA2+ Pennsylvanians A Political VOice
Keystone Equality empowers LGBTQIA2+ Pennsylvanians so they can have a strong political voice in PA.
Through voter mobilization, electoral advocacy, and political organizing, Keystone Equality centers LGBTQ+ Pennsylvanians in the fight for equality, equity, and inclusion on the basis of sexual orientation, gender and gender expression identity across our state.
Keystone Equality is in the process of filing for 501(c)(4) nonprofit status.
VOTER MOBILIZATION
Keystone Equality engages in efforts to promote voter registration and ensure voters who support LGBTQIA2+ equality vote in every election. We do this through providing information on voter registration to LGBTQIA2+ community organizations across the state and promoting Get Out the Vote efforts whenever possible. Keystone Equality partners with national, state, and local organizations wishing to increase voter participation for LGBTQIA2+ Pennsylvanians.

ELECTORAL ADVOCACY
Keystone Equality works to elect LGBTQIA2+-friendly officials at all levels of government. We do this through endorsements, providing information on LGBTQIA2+ policies to candidates for office, and commenting on political races. We promote the inclusion of LGBTQIA2+-related questions in public debates and questionnaires.
When elected officials cause harm to LGBTQIA2+ Pennsylvanians we must call attention to their actions. When elected officials work tirelessly to ensure LGBTQIA2+ Pennsylvanians are safe and protected under the law, we are called to highlight their work.

POLITICAL ORGANIZING
From supporting constituents contacting their legislators on issues before local and state government to issuing statements on legislative activities, Keystone Equality aims to advance LGBTQIA2+ inclusion in Pennsylvania through direct political organizing. Working in coordination with other statewide LGBTQIA2+ stakeholders and organizations we actively reach out to legislators about the issues that matter to you!
